Benjamin the orphan baby pygmy goat raised by Tom

Benjamin is an orphaned 5 week old pygmy goat who lives with Tom at Pot House Hamlet, Silkstone, Barnsley, S754JU.

Benjamin’s is one of twins but his mother didn’t take to him. There appeared to be little hope for the baby boy so in stepped Tom. Tom has been hand rearing the baby goat day and night and now he has turned a corner and really healthy.

Benjamin follows Tom everywhere at Pot House Hamlet, he meets and greets the customers and loves to skip and jump around the place.

The BBC visited Pot House Hamlet to produce a segment for the news which went viral and had over 16 million views in 72 hours.

Pot House Hamlet is a tourist attraction based on the edge of the Pennines, in the rural village of Silkstone in Barnsley, Yorkshire.

We have plenty to see and do here so pop down and visit.
